“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Not much on the net about them Sergio, but they look well made, although I do prefer something that is flexible when it comes to wire.

    Hi Sergio,

Some awesome stuff there, as usual! I especially love your attention to detail with the mains supply and cables. I use a number of Furutech 'carbon-fibre' products myself. You should try their IEC plugs on your mains leads. I recommend them highly!

I use these throughout my main system: http://www.furutech.com/2013/01/26/949/ Best IECs on the planet, IMO.

Have you still got your Micromega CDP/transport? What is it, an Aria, Duo or what? And could we see a nice close-up picture of it. I'm a massive fan of top-loading Micromega CDPs. Love the thick perspex lid, and they sound *so* musical and 'un-digital', too!

    Hi, Marco,

I have only power wall socket from Furutech brand.

Yes, I still have CDP Micromega Aria and I am planning to leave it on my rack for records with usual level of quality (non-audiophile). Musical CDP, may be not perfect in timbres, but with own sound philosophy. By the way, I hooked it up to Pre Amp using XLR outputs and it sounds a little bit better than RCA despite Aria is not true balanced CDP.

I am playing with those 2 new Power Cables now, changing their positions in Setup. Effect is huge. To be continued with more details.

    Default 2 Power Amps more!

2 pcs of Nuprime STA-9 were ordered 1 month ago. So I will shift from vertical bi-amping (using 2 stereo amps) to quadro-amping using 4 pcs of STA-9 in bridged mode.
Future is bright, great and positive.

If I ever go to the Ukraine, Sergio, I'd love to come and hear your system. I admire your approach to audio. I just *know* that your system would be superb!
