    what is it with these things....built in obsolescence or do the companies send destruct messages to them when you dont update them

    Last month the operator honed to say my contract was coming to an end and whould I like to update. I said no, the phone works perfectly well thanks. He sais , oh well if it still ok then why bother. 2 days later it went wonky, and has played up ever since

    I hate coincidences. doh, looks like I may have to buy a second hand one as I aint paying the price of a new one and cant afford another big contract.
    Gonna have alooksee on Ebay for an S4 or something like that.

    Sorry to hear that your mobile is playing up Grant..

    I've just come from a rather expensive contract with O2 where I was paying an amount to pay for the phone (iPhone 5) plus a contract for the call plan itself

    As I have now paid off the phone I have come right down to £10.50 per month just for a call plan which gives me... 300Mb data (which can be extended for not a lot when needed), Unlimited texts and 300 minutes... I will save a fortune each month

    I did try to go with EE but there Customer Services department is 'off-shore' and I had a really bad experience with them... I won't touch them now...

    Contract? If you don't use it much, why not opt for Pay as you Go, and f*ck em? A £10 top up voucher lasts me about 4 months!

    Hardly use mine. As Marco says £10 PAYG lasts ages, I use Tesco Mobile. Been using an LG KC550 for about ten years. It is reliable (I have two spare ones anyway). I only bought it 'cos it has a decent camera built in.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Not sure what phone, but unlimited calls and texts with 4 gig of data for 15 quid a month.

    I came across this by accident. Didnt realise yiu could get them



    My battery was not lasting well so when looking for a replacement I stumbled on this..the back of mine was well worn anyways. .its twice capacity so twice the thickness as is the back. Eadier to get a grip of too

    Be careful with bigger batteries. I looked into it for my phone 2 or 3 years ago, and the warnings about overheating put me off. Maybe they're better now?
