For my old VW r reg

I need some new tapes for my old R reg car.
The prereorded ones I've got I've heard for like thousands of times.
Gonna buy some records off discogs and want to play them on the road.
Has anyone any bad experiences of certain makes of tape decks, 'cos i don't wanna waste any money?
If you've a suggestion, I'd like to hear it?

Hi Clare, I always had good results with Sony or Yamaha cassette decks, no need to spend big money on them these days.
