    Above all it's a book which you DIDN'T mention! Only the finest book ever written, didn't think the film followed the book to its word, but it's a great film.

    I liked the BBC's version (from the 1950's, I think), adapted by Nigel Kneale (of Quatermass fame) and starring Peter Cushing and Andre Morell.
