Default Audio Techinca ATP-12t Armlift / rest holder and extra heavy counterweight

This one is bound for Singapore.

The brief was to make a armlift and rest holder to fit the lovely ATP-12t (a 10.5 inch arm), this time it had to be as short as possible to allow maximum range / travel of the arm tube slider weight.

Hewn and then fine milled out of 6mm plate Stainless Steel and then polished to match the arm / the chromed Jelco armlift that was was supplied to match.

Both the arm lift and rest are height adjustable the latter also position adjustable.

Shaped, tapped, polished and fitted out

    Testing with dummy armtube

The counterweight required to balance SPUs was 200g.

This was also made of Stainless Steel, shaped to match the original and polished. A thumbscrew was chosen instead of a grub screw

    Cutting the thumbscrew thread

Drilling the weight, a nylon inner damping sleeve will be fitted.

    Weight checked

    the finished article

Great work as always Steve, still enjoying the AT1005mk2 and mods you did for me. That armlift looks the business on this. R
