hi Jamie, Do you know the material for the ball at isocapfeet... İ could not find at the description
And what is the total weight upper platform of existing sandwich with turntable together more or less. because with sorbothane not only upper load capacity say here 16 kg. is important. Sorbothane has also a lower load limit. Best works between upper and lower limits.

    hi,
thanks for your reply,my turntable weighs 8.2 kg,the board it sits on weighs approx 1 kg so roughly in the middle of the weight specs for the sorbothane cups.

It's not costing a king's ransom so if it were me I would give it a go. It may be better, worse or do nothing - only one way to find out.

    Hi Jamie,

I use four of these under a platform made from a laminated dense isolation material, it is very heavy and similar to slate in acoustic properties, but you could use a 3 inch maple wood shelf. I then stand my turntable on the shelf but the VPI Scout has its own ball bearing tipped isolation feet. It works very well Indeed.

Have a look at some of the suggestions the Vibrated company have for building a platform with the sorbathane vibrapods.

    Good luck

I think they suggest to use two shelves with Vibrapods in-between.
