    Default DacMagic PSU replacement programme

    For DacMagic owners, message from Cambridge Audio posted on another forum:

    We have recently been alerted to a problem affecting the casework on some DacMagic Power Supply Units (PSUs).

    We believe this only to affect a minority of UK PSUs but if your are outside of the UK and require a replacement please do continue and we will issue you with a replacement as soon as possible.

    As a responsible manufacturer we ask concerned customers to check their DacMagic PSU for obvious damage/cracks. If the casework is damaged in any way, switch off mains power at the wall socket, unplug the DacMagic PSU from the mains and do not plug it back in.

    If you have a broken PSU or are in any way concerned about your PSU we will gladly send you a replacement free of charge.

    Please follow the link below to obtain a replacement PSU if required;

    Like most manufacturers, Cambridge Audio does not produce its own PSUs but instead sources such components from specialist power supply manufacturers. We would like to assure customers that the original PSU is fully compliant with CE safety legislation and indeed meets relevant approvals in all markets.

    It is important to consider that the majority of PSUs will be unaffected and if the PSU casework is undamaged, please continue to use your DacMagic PSU as normal.

    Important – please only use this service if you require a replacement PSU. Please submit any other support question or technical query via the usual Customer Care Centre at www.cambridgeaudio.com/sts

    We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
