    Default Ruark Swordsman

    Hi

I'm due to collect a pair of these at the tail end of the coming week just wondering if their are many reviews from you guys they look superb my dad had talisman 2's a good 12 years ago fond memories of them the ones i'm due to buy have been well looked after and paying above the average at £60 but considering the sale for the Audiomaster's fell through i'm buying these as a birthday present to myself although not really needed i have always wanted to try Ruarks for their musicality...

    Cheers

Decent sounding speakers Dan. £60 seems a good enough price.

I had a pair a few years ago and seem to remember them sounding pretty good, only got rid of them to fund a pair of Epos that I hated
    Marantz CD63 KI Signature
    Project Debut II
    Pioneer A656 Reference
    Epos M5s
    Atacama Stands
Maplin speaker cable cos I can't hear a difference
    Various interconnects as above

Quality speakers the Ruarks. Not heard the Swordsman though. Or the really big ones, forget the name.

Should work well together. I quite fancy a pair of Ruarks to play with too.

    No booze for me .
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I can’t lie. I found them thick-sounding, confused and lacking in detail. One of my least favourites. I didn’t fare much better with Sabres which were only slightly better.

Lacking in Detail i cant say that about them - Very Clean and revealing and rather nice for Rock Music i found each to their own bud i quite like them.
