Oh well, this Quad 303 is now on its way to me. Not sure quite why I bought it, but there you go.

It looks cosmetically rather good and may even work and it was cheap!

Not heard one for many years.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Could be a good bargain, fingers crossed.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Was told a side effect of Parkinsons was urge to gamble-I did wonder if hi-fi purchases fitted that description!

It can be a side effect of the meds you take for it, can also cause obsessive behaviour.

If I was to hazard a guess I'd say a few people on the forum might be on them

One of the 306's is a boxed minter, the other two were cheapies that have some cosmetic needs, but they all work.

I may have a dabble at colour matching the case enamels to respray the scruffier ones.

Looks to be in good cosmetic condition, so ought to be in good working order. Well done.

Are you after my status as Incorrigable Quad Fanatic? Three 306s and a 303 isn't bad, but you're up against 4 tuners; a pair of speakers; 3 405s (all fettled); a pair of 'monoblocked' and heavily modified 405s; a 303; a 303K; a 520f, and a pair of 510 monoblocks.
