    Welcome to AoS Martin.

Interesting mixture of speakers: Tannoy Lancaster 15" and Rehdeko design! Rehdeko speakers polarise opinions - what is it you like about them?

Nice broad range in your tastes in music.

    Enjoy the Forum

    Regards
    Barry

    Smile Rehdeko

Well, I have to say that I'm not a great fan. They can be amazing with classical and the bass is of an interesting kind. They are hit and miss. Too harsh most of the time. Good dynamics. I mighrt have been using wrong amplification but tried it with 6 early transistors. Extremely efficient! I was tempted to hook them up to a headphone amp...

    Hello Martin. Welcome to AOS.

That's an unusual selection of Hi-Fi you have. Quite appeals to me actually. Older Japanese amps can be remarkably good.

I've not owned Rehdeko speakers, but somehow I get the impression that perhaps they may be best matched with valve amplification.

There is a Gallery section if you'd like to post equipment photos. They'd be appreciated.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Default japanese hifi

    Hi Geoff,

I'm quite fond of early Japanese hifi in general. It would be interesting to get hold of some of the large Sixties floorstanders and see what they are like.

You might be right about Rehdeko speakers. I'd like to hear them sounding good over a broad spectrum of genres and recordings.

Something like these Sansui SP-L75 speakers maybe?
