    I'm Khoa.

    Default Hi everyone

    Hi everyone,

My name is Khoa Nguyen from Sweden. In December 2013, I bought my first-time ever vinyl setup and I've been very happy with the sound since then. I love listening to good mastered music (unfortunately, it's not the case for many digital version :-( ). In my opinion, digital trumps vinyl in most of aspects. However, the feeling of putting a LP on the platter, cleaning it and dropping the tonearm lift is great.

    My system:
    - Analog
    - Acoustic Solid Machine Small
    - Trans-fi Terminator T3Pro
    - Denon DL-103R
    - iFi iPhono
    - Digital
    - Synology DS212j, WD MyCloud
    - Mac Mini with Audirvana+ 2.0, JRiver Media Center
    - iFi iDSD Micro
    - Marantz PM15-S1
    - Yamaha Aventage RX-3030
    - Speakers/Headphones
    - Focal 836W (front)
    - Polk LSi9 (rear)
    - Audio Pro (center)
    - Sennheiser HD800 headphones
    - Beyer Dynamic T70p
    - Sony XBA-H1

    Hello Khoa. Welcome to AOS.

That's a fair selection of equipment you have. We have a Gallery section, if you'd like to post some system photos.

Are you planning any equipment changes? We like to hear what people are doing.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Thanks everyone for warm welcome messages.

I listen to a wide variety of music but my preference would go to Jazz. For some strange reason, I prefer to "fire" up 15" minutes of Hard Rock in the morning then calm down with Classical and continue my work :-).

I came to Sweden to study and stay here to work. But had I known that I would get into this audio world, I would have decided to come to UK to do my study.
