    Default Hello to all!

    Hello All,
New member here - I was a straight 2 channel audio guy but have crossed over to this side of the hobby. Started out with a cmoy and a few cheap iem's but now have several ss amps, one otl amp and 5 pair of full size cans!
Right now my favorite set-up is my Oppo DVD as a transport to a Bushmaster MKII to a Keces HA-171 to my AKG K612's. This set-up sounds surprisingly good. I run an 8" Harman Kardon sub right beside me and it adds just a smidge to the foundation.

My current main system is NAD C542 disc, Placette Audio RVC, McCormack DNA 0.5 (X2 vertical bi-amp) Monitor Audio RS6 speakers in rosenut...sounds really nice IMO. Audio Art & Esoteric Audio cables.

    Hello Michael. Welcome to AOS.

Headphones & Beresford units seems a popular combination here.

Tell us what music you've been listening to.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.

    Welcome to AOS

Kansas, one of my favourite bands. Love Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Monolith, Audio Visions, Vinyl Confessions, Drastic Measures and In the Spirit of Things.

An album by Spy called Spy (http://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/gl...954&CDName=Spy) is worth getting because its very Kansas like, with a dash of Styx

also the band Shooting Star have wee hints of Kansas about them as well.

    Hope you enjoy the forum

    Regards Neil

No worries, I love melodic American and Canadian rock music. Lots of great music around some from groups that only made one album.

New England are worth checking out too, if you haven't already.

I may have mistaken this site for more of a headphone site... if so it was unintentional. My roots are in 2 channel audio so all is well with me. I hope I can still stay.
I was originally a metal head... graduated in '84 but always was drawn to the more thinking mans metal music, Fates Warning, Dream Theater, Crimson Glory etc, etc.
Now I love almost anything from rock to folk to classical. I love music in general.
I've been listening lately to Gordian Knot, Ozric Tentacles, Gov't Mule and some classical.

    Thanks again for the welcome!

So you like a bit of Ozrics then Michael.

Have you listened to Eat Static, who sort of evolved from Ozric Tentacles? Pretty good stuff and if you like them, also have a listen to Shpongle (just amazing).
