I must say in all my years of hi-fi, I have never had a manufacturer/distributor/dealer use the old "cat ate my drive belt" gambit! That should go to Hi-Fi World's alternative awards next year...

Hang on Dave - I smell a rat! No, a cat! No, a squirrel!

Could it be that mog was Photoshopped onto that picture, like Cyril the Squirrel? Maybe Dave really broke the Gyro drive belt by attempting to bungee the weekly shopping on to the back of his Honda CBX with it???

    We should be told!

Google my name Dave Cawley ? Take the first one. Go to it, wait 35 seconds for the music to load, turn the volume up, does that give anyone a clue?

Wu says she's going to bring Rebel some biscuits, so he doesn't have to eat any more of my turntable!

    Take him a fish!

It'll work much better... IME if you give cats a biscuit they just get 'the look' on their faces. You can almost hear them thinking "WTF is that? Do you think I'm a dog you big idiot?"!!!
