Hello, I was also interested in this battery, but seems that it also has auto shutdown feature when the device is not drilling enough current over the 12v output. Response from Anker support:
Thanks for contacting Anker Support.
If the current draw is lower than 0.05A then the Pro will shut off after around 50 seconds.
I hope this answers your questions but please do get back to me if you need anything else at all.

Thanks for that. Is there another suitable battery power supply please?
Don't know really, but I saw on the forum that the problem with auto shutdown could be resolved adding small bulb in the circuit to constantly draw more current to prevent the battery to go for sleep.
BTW, here is the whole thread about it: http://theartofsound.net/forum/showt...ushmaster-MKII

Many thanks, I take it it's worth doing?

Yes, I think so for the price, which is less then half the cost of a decent linear power supply. Read the thread linked by Mkrzych to give you some idea of the results you can except with a battery. I also have it connected to 12v plasma lamp just in case of problems, but up to know it has not been needed. Tried connecting my Touch to the 5v output on the battery which worked very well, but was heavy on battery use so went back to the power supply for the Touch.

Barry, do you need to press any button to start charging the battery, Thinking of using a 7 day timer to automate charging.
Thanks
Chris
