    I'm Jack.

Default Hi - Jack from Bracknell.

I would introduce myself as an 'Old School' analogue enthusiast who is slightly passed the Summer of life. My musical tastes include Blues, 'Dance-rock', surf music and bebop.
My first system was a Lenco GL75, Viceroy (USA) valve integrated and a pair of Leak Sandwich speakers. Since then there have been many upgrades, including a Beard power amp, Various TTs (AR, Thorens TD150, Garrard idlers, Rocks), IMFs, SD1s, Snell (J and E) culminating in my present day active system.
The current system: TT - Cranfield Rock (Alphason H100 rewired by Speedysteve, Cadenza Blue)
    Cranfield Rock (Alphason Xenon, DV17D2
    TD124 x 3
    Garrard 401 (Rega RB300, AT33 PTG)
    Phono - Art Audio V1; pre amp modified DIY Supply Consonance Basie;
Ashly 4001 (USA) electronic 4 way analogue crossover
Passive xover to Creek SS driving modified Fountek ribbon tweeter
Ashly feeds Son of Heffa DIY KT 88 valve amp driving 1.5 inch JBL Be Compression driver with Audiotech tractrix waveguide
next down is an Aranov KT88 amp driving BMS neo 2" comp in DIY wooden conical waveguide
next down is an Audio Synthesis Desire SS amp driving Vitavox AK157 15" in a DIY wooden conical w/g
and then, finally, an A & R SA200 driving a pair of IK Audio 'touring subs' (ex Happy Mondays) - folded horns with 18" JBLs.

    Hello Jack. Welcome to AOS.

Sounds as though you like horn speakers. Those 18" JBLs must be huge.

That's quite a collection of gear you've got.

I'd love to see some photos.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AoS Jack.

Nice collection of gear - thought I was the only one mad enough to have three Thorens 124s!

    Enjoy the Forum
