I've got scope to make the listening area bigger but it's just about right, the other end of the room is larger & allocated to tv viewing with 2 more reclining sofas. My 65" Sony telly broke down just as the lockdown kicked in so I haven't been able to get an engineer out yet (it's still under a 5 year warranty). Got a stop gap 40" tv in for now.

Well an ex and some other lady friends have liked the picture on Facebook which my current lady friend huffed & puffed about (& I know your position on Facebook Marco so no tirade please . I find it invaluable for keeping in touch with family & friends, especially in the current situation, me & my cousin who lives in scotland wind each other up all day).

Lol - you misunderstand me. I've got nothing against the use of social media *in the right way*, such as you're doing. Like Grant says, it's a tool to be used and enjoyed, (much as you and I post on here), just as long as it doesn't turn into an addiction or obsession, and which ends up controlling your life

If you're happy with how they sound, I wouldn't touch your Tannoys. Generally, although I know yours are the ported type, they work best (display their key sonic strengths) in small-ish rooms, so in that respect small is better than big, which I'm sure is a problem your lady friends often have to deal with, when the opposite applies

I should have said thanks for the favourable comments about the system & my pic (not bad for 61?). Yes, I'm very satisfied with it's performance (as are the ladies with mine ).

Completely over the top and pretty much unusable as i fall asleep within about 2 minutes of sitting in it

The only pic of me i can find where i’m not in a car or on a bike with a crash hat on.

Pic was taken in Adenau town where we’d go for a mid morning breakfast of bratwurst hotdogs before heading to the ring for a few laps, then back to the camp site for beers and a bbq, then on to either the Blaue Ecke in Adenau or the world famous restaurant of the petrol head the Pistenklause in Nurburg for more beer and food.

    http://www.speedhunters.com/2008/08/...e_nurburgring/

Their steak on a stone is the best i’ve had anywhere ever, just fabulous, and the atmosphere is wonderful as everyone is there for the same reason and has the same mindset.
If one has even the slightest trace of petrol running through their veins, then i can recommend a week there without question.
We were planning on going back later this year on the bikes, but that isn’t going to happen now.

    Edit..
found one more, this time at Calais on the way back.
I’m wearing the hat as a bet from an american mate..

Eleven years after the first pic I posted I look a complete wreck!

Mind you it was this Saturday and I had just face planted the tarmac after hitting a pothole downhill at 25mph. Broke 4 top front teeth and 5 hours later after my R arm that had been used a brake had been cleaned and Maxofacial had cut and shaped what was left of my top lip and nose and inserted 30 stitches inside and out.

Nice job you did there Rob.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
