Believe it or not, I've heard one. More than one (version). The arm is the secret. The quirky drive mechanism of the original nearly sank it. The arm is pure ak genius though. Amazing bass articulation for that price. This was the tt the old git tried to con me on the blind tests against a rega by playing a as b. If he can get a few dealers to stock it...

And it's a faff to get the antiskate/VTA correct, which rules out the inexperienced user.

The vta is only a faff compared with an sl1200. And that's what the bloody dealer gets paid for. We nearly got to fisticuffs about this. "the dealers want plug & play". "For 10% mark up they can have plug & play" was my response. And Funk could sell mail order and cut out dealers. Its worth the faff.
