Could get to a grand I guess but that is getting into Cheviot territory.

The seller also has a nice Yammy tuner. Very low bid so far and not so much time to go to auction end.

I actually prefer the Eaton's HPD295A tonally, to the Cheviot/Devon HPD315. It just seems to sound sweeter for some reason.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I'm always stunned by the sound of the Eatons. My Berkeleys are currently deconstructed so listening to the Eatons currently. Loads of texture, definition and outright engagement.

Rather suspect the bid will get to a higher level but worth watching. Collection only from Stanmore.

I always knew you were a generous soul Edward but you don't have to be so modest as to remain anonymous

Oooh! Tannoy SRM 12B's in Farnborough. Scarce and very nice. These kick ass and sound superb, proper Tannoy monitors.

Yummy speakers - needs some work. Price needs to reflect that.

Could be a nice project for you @Marco and add to your speaker collection?

Shame about the horrible colourations. Me and Lowthers don't get on.

Agreed! I lived with a pair of Lowther Acoustas with the PM6 drivers for a couple of years. Superb attack and sensitivity, but coloured as tomato soup, with an abrupt low frequency cut-off.
