I was thinking the same. It has to be the archetypal 'pot in a box' passive! You couldn't even buy the bits at the price.

If I get one, I'll be probably changing two of the phono sockets for plugs.

I use my PC for most of my audio, has an old, but good Sandblaster 5.1 card in it. The attenuator will be used (sometimes) between the Soundblaster and a power amp, could be Radford STA25 III, Quad 405-2, Quad 303 etc. etc.

A little bit of damage, but quite cheap at £30 ? Was having a look on Gumtree to see if any Celestion speakers I have, have been listed, sadly no.

Default Celestion ditton 15 studio series vintage speakers

Quite a very high price, I always thought this version quite common with regards to desirability. Junk shops, carboots, local free ads etc see these selling at the £30 to £40 price I maybe wrong?
