Kef must have sold masses of these lovely speakers. This pair is in the 30k serial number range. Mine are much earlier - in the 3k serial number range.

Anyway watching. Why? Well why not.

Always interesting to see what other items a seller has. Seems very ambitious for his '"Now that is what I call music!" CDs. I remember dumping many of these in the skip that somehow my daughters' seem to have collected over the years.

Yes. I could have been tempted to have another pair myself, but I have some small Tannoys on the way.

Are you working on the idea one can't have too many speakers?

    Anyway which Tannoys?

I only want the drivers and crossovers from these. The plastic cabinets are for the skip.

Yes. You can have too many speakers. I have five sets already, including big ones (Tannoys ).

Blimey - is five pairs too many? I'm in real trouble, then...(15 pairs including 6 large and one huge!)

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

And I feel obsessive and guilty about having one reference pair, and one pair I'm working on.

You should feel guilty about only having 2 pairs of speakers, you're way behind the curve! 6 pairs here and another pair soon to arrive (hopefully).
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.
