Rothwell MCX SUT. Would've had this myself but not an ideal match for the Kontrapunkt b, according to the figures.

    I know!!

Was supposed to be waiting until April for a Hashimoto HM-3 but being the impatient shit I am, bought this.

To be fair, it kills two birds with one stone. I want to give a SUT a good run (April is about right) and also really wanted to try a Rothwell SUT. Full on review and comparison will be done around April time when/if the Hashimoto become available. May even be able to run the rule over some HM-7 too.

Tannoy System 10 DMT in Derby. Very nice sounding speakers these. Punchy too.

Only bid to £57 so far. They'll fetch a lot more than that.

Hashimotos can take quite a while to run in and sound their best ... weeks anyway, possibly months

Cheers, Tom. Luckily they are used and owned by a friend so they should be well warmed up by the time I get hold ..... if I get hold of them.

The Rothwell MCX has a bit to live up to in that respect but I'm very hopeful. The Transformers are of high quality so let's see!!!!

No, they are larger ten inch drive units in the DMT's.

KEF Corelli speakers, quite rare. Need a service, but may go cheap. In Dalston, north of central London. Lovely sounding speakers, amazingly transparent. I have a pair, think LS3/5a with bass. I reckon these need a recap and resoldered joints. Best all-rounder of any of the classic 'C' range of KEF's.
