Strange listing, this is for a single speaker.. and way over priced for a single speaker to be honest..

Strange one that. Why just a single RS3 ? They were supplied in pairs only.

Also, there is clearly damage to the grille and what look to be marks on the front badge, so not 'new'.

Might be worth a grand. What's a "Shure Empire III" cartridge?
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Stereo 20 maybe £400, the deck maybe £150, Tuner £100 tops, not 'Shure' about the cartridge ho ho, and pre-amp essentially worthless. Add some on for the valves, still can't see how it can be more than a grand unless you really want the cabinet. And you could have one made for a lot less than the price difference. Over-optimistic at £2600

Don't minty (like that one) Stereo 20s fetch more than £400? I'd have thought £500-700.... However, I'm no expert on this. It's a nice thing though, and perfect for someone wanting to complete their 1960s lounge with some hi-fi kit from the period

Recently they go for between £450 and £800 on eBay - so £600 is would be more accurate. Fair point.

The guy is chancing his arm but given the interest in 'retro' among the bearded/sockless brigade there may actually be value in the fact it's all got up in a cabinet, most have been broken up long ago and this one isn't the worst out there by any means.
