I would not regard the 350 magnet as being really small, 500gm ? as against the largest (pretty big) magnet 13"x8" with a 700gm? magnet. I put in question marks as this is from memory from many years ago. The 450 certainly has a small magnet, but the 150 had the smallest magnet of all the 13" x 8"s.

The EMI paper cone tweeter that sounded best to me were the early ones that had Alnico magnets.

Must be something good about them, Tom. But never heard any myself. NOS I suppose.

    How much?

And they're used, not even new old stock.

I'm in the market for a single KEF B139 SP1044 but am hoping to pay about a tenth of that!

Perhaps they were rarely imported into Germany or something.

Wonderful! I know I have seen some of them before but I can't remember where it was. Some old building in Liverpool I think. I'm a sucker for that art-deco era stuff.

I suspect some bids will come from dummies who think they're early dual concentric units. They're not!

A mintish late pair like those is pretty rare these days, but I'd not value them over £100.

The proper Baker full range units like the 'Superb' for instance, had rather short lived foam surrounds, so I guess many went in the skip (even though they were easy to fix). Why not have a look at the vintage Wharfedale drivers, they were nice and many had doped cloth surrounds that last.
