They did (P2 model?). They employed the Fane 'Ionofane' horn tweeter. The problem as I recall was a ceramic element that eventually eroded, don't recall the exact details.

Ionofanes crop up for sale once in a blue moon and good ones fetch a pretty penny.

Late Celestion HF2000 tweeters attracting a lot of bids. It'll be interesting to see what they fetch.

Good pairs are getting pretty rare now and attracting higher prices.

my celestion 130's have the less desireable 1001 tweeter.. still they sell from 20 to 40 each, so probably worth more than the speakers lol. the 8" long throw drivers are decent too. i must get them stripped and dump cabs which is a shame

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

Up to £228 now. I hope the prospective buyer has noticed they are late ones with no screw holes. Clips have to be used.

Dodgy looking NAD 804 speakers. Original dome tweeters missing and nasty cheap piezo items fitted, port tubes missing and grilles missing. Horrible!

Hope nobody's daft enough to buy these.

Are these used in the 66? Might be worth that to someone with a blown pair.
