“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

To be fair there's a lot more goes into making these than meets the eye. When I went to shrink wrap college, I only got 2 years into the six year course and had to drop out as it was too gruelling. And that isn't just any old clingfilm either, it's Saran wrap!

Let themselves down by miss spelling "cord" though, makes it all look a bit iffy.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Jeez - they look awful (Saran wrap or not)!

Are they worth the money? Well a lot of work goes into them, and the conductors are claimed to be 7N silver. Most commercially available silver wire is only 3N (or 4N at best), so refining it to 7N purity will be expensive. Cold welding the conductors to the connectors make sense, but to do the job properly you have to have the correctly sized crimping tools, otherwise the crimp will not be reliable and will fail with time. Platinum plating the connecting surfaces make sense from a cosmetic point of view, but is of doubtful advantage electrically.

What is this obsession with the mechanical damping of cables? All cables are soft, flexible and compliant, not stiff and rigid; so how are these vibrations transmitted?

But as I said they look awful and I wouldn't pay £15 for one, let alone £15,000, no matter how good they sound. Are those testimonials genuine?

Nice looking Quad 306 power amplifier. Listing ends later today and the bidding is up to £156 so far. Good sounding amps!

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
