A B&O collector might like this. I would have it as a second systems but SWMBO said no, I always liked my sister-in-laws in Denmark, they have a great sound.

I came across this complete Beogram 9000 system it is in good condition and is a working, the TT works but needs a new cartridge (I think about £200). The seller sent me videos of it working CD and Cassette, it sound pretty OK, it was his wife's cousin who owned it from new but has passed away.

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

TD150 Mk.II just sold. Amazing that a deck this good can still be picked up so cheaply.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

And like yesterday, another Thorens TD150 that looks like it'll go cheaply.

Forget Regas, Pro-jects and standard Techies etc. One of these will run circles around them! Better sounding than the TD160 and massively underrated.

Fairly rare vintage B&W DM3 speakers in Yarmouth.

For a long time I used to covet a pair of DM3s; but I would baulk at paying £250 for a pair now.

Before the DM3 came out, Jim Rogers sold me 13"x 8" EMI bass units, Celestion HF1300's and STC 4001G's, put them in cabinets (about 2 Cu ft) and made some crossovers, still have the speakers, sound pretty good. I also have genuine DM3's that use the HF1400.

I thought it was the big one but on closer inspection it's the smaller 45W version. Still a looker though.
