    Nice. It's an early SL 15E actually, not just an SL 15. Sounds very similar to the SPUE.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    I have couple of them, as well as a Mk. II. Used to have the 2-15K transformer as well, but sold it to Tom (I preferred using the Nakamichi MCB 100, but that was a matter of personal choice).

    Yes, very similar to the SPU-GE.

    Stuck at £117 and didn't reach its reserve - mind you the casing did look like it's been used as a skateboard at some point
