Bargain? Ten full range drive units in the West Country. Vintage Eagle PA speakers that I'm fairly certain contain FR8 drivers, which were actually 8" full range Coral drivers. Very rare now and extremely good, better than the sought after Philips 9710M. Collect only. If these were local to me, I'd keep quiet and nab them for myself

My telefunkens drivers were used in a church array. Got 7 of 10" drivers still. Really good drivers and these look to be of similar quality

Because, done well*, the sound can be excellent!
*Only with quality NOS blank tapes [not prerecorded shite], used for making recordings from your own system, and providing that the heads and everything else inside the machine in question is performing optimally.
Given that's the case, I've heard the best tape decks outperform some CDPs. Also, when applied to car audio, the better ones piss all over anything digital!
