Can't grumble at that price. The Sonabs are good fun, Peerless drivers if I recall. Properly fettled you may get a couple of hundred for 'em if selling.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Unless they are not to my taste sound wise I think I’ll probably keep them.

Does anyone know of any companies here in the UK that refoam speakers? I could do it myself but would rather someone who is experienced do it as I’d hate to mess it up.

Cool! Liking the Technics cassette deck, too - looks funky!

It’s big and heavy too! At around 10kg I love the old top loading cassette decks from the 70’s

I’d love to own a Sony TC-177SD someday...

Tannoy SGM 12X in Exeter, lovely! Not too many of these about and they sound superb.

Surely ridiculously expensive for the plastic driver jobbies? I wouldn't pay half the asking for for this pair.

Oops apologies quick look on my phone thought these were later models with plastic cones!

Still getting pricey for this era though.

Still getting pricey for this era though, were £800 not so long ago. 12in HPDs are still under a grand never mind these, Monitor Golds now over a grand.
