    I think they are Tannoy Oxfords? Just not DC so worth about £80 or a bit more these days.

    These Dynaudio Contour 1.3 Mk.II speakers hold their value. There are a few pairs on ebay at around £1000, which is nigh on what they cost new twenty years ago!

    I bought a brand new set around 2003 for a bit under £1200 from Audio T. Didn't keep them all that long, I didn't like them. Nicely built, but raspy treble and boomy bass from the rear port.
    It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    decent kit that, bottom of the range but the prices are sensible.

    That is a bargain. I have a four-shelf version (though currently missing glass for bottom shelf, previous owner boshed it). Really deep shelves, will carry almost anything. If I lived near Grimsby I'd be having this, if only for the glass
