What impressed me recently was a mid seventies Cambridge Audio P80 integrated. It really is nice sounding. It's a follow on from the classic P40, P50, P60, P70 series. Made when Cambridge were a prestige brand, not Richer Sounds cheapos.

I have a P50 with matching T55 tuner. Cambridge were one of the first companies to use a toroidal mains transformer, thus achieving the distinctive slim, sleek profile which was ahead of it's time.

Tannoy DC200 speakers on ebay. Do not be tempted, they're not nice. Coloured, two dimensional and dull.

Poorly made. I bought one new back at that time and returned it for a refund. Slack main bearing and arm bearings. Cheaply built plinth.

That asking price is about twice what they were new and they weren't worth the original price.

Reminds me of a budget Rotel I had, sold it quick, it was what it was.

very nice, personally prefer the 160B Mk2 but it is in very good condition, i think it will jump up in price considerably before the end of the auction
