Oh well. Win some, lose some. You could always be cheeky and go back to BHF and say you will buy them for £xx if the buyer does not turn up. So often people bid on things and then have second thoughts, particularly if it is collection only.

One of my top 5 all-time favourite loudspeakers and the models that taught me what imagery is! Sadly missing their Cyrus LFAU active bass crossover/amplifier but still...

Even though I've never heard a class A amp that I really liked I think this looks very well engineered and is a lot of amp for the money.

This is neat. Tiny valve hybrid Class A headphone amp for less than forty quid. Good trustworthy seller too.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Great! More listings should look like this. And it's had a couple of bids, so maybe honesty is the best policy. Although the manufacturer seems to make a good living doing the opposite. Has anyone ever heard Russ and vfm spoken in the same sentence?

Refreshing, after a personal discussion on what I do to minimise noise from mains, he released this. I bought one, early on in this century, and it did nothing. I got a refund, and was then eliminated form the 'newsletter'

The thing is i was going to buy 1 to try and eliminate an occasional popping through my system when the fridge clicked in. I doubt I'll bother now though.
