If I was near Kilmarnock I would bid on these if the price does not get too high. Could clean up nicely with new grill cloth and I guess new caps. Currently bid at £26 but still a few days to go.

I have a mate in Bracknell with a pair of these and a Quad 44/606 and sometimes I go round there and really wonder whether you need anything more. Lovely speaker.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Inclined to agree. I heard a pair of these way back in the early '70s, and was impressed, but I was just starting out on my audio journey. Would have to listen to them again to see if I still liked them.

Good luck. Perhaps go along to BHF and have a look first?

There's info on the listing. The image of built cabinets shows them in boxes looking about the same size as Tannoy Chatsworths.

Fancy some ten inchers instead? https://es.aliexpress.com/store/prod...f-eb4279b01355
