Been playing around with SME arm and comparing Gyrodec and Orbe platter used tracks from this for reference and quality, musics good too
Deck is setup now, and sounds better than ever, found SME arm was 0.4mm down at rear, so was loosing some definition/clarity, this was highlighted more by the Orbe platter. I have opted to keep the original Gyrodec platter on for now, sounds more lively and gives the impression of a more open sound/feel to the music, maybe slightly more forward. The bass is still there in a controled and good way. With the Orbe platter it gives a rendition that can only be described as slightly laid back, everything is there and it still sounds good just subtly different

New discovery for me, good when that happens.
Playing Roon and had the radio feature on, playlist stopped and random similar music came on.
Heard this VOICE coming from the other room had to find out who it is.
The way the song builds up, the groove getting stronger and her voice just goes places I've not heard.
Goosebump stuff for me, playing the album again.
A favourite track from the 'Toob, give it a whirl.

A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.
