Just arrived this morning, and it's a belter

Wasn't expecting much in the way of sound quality, I was wrong. Better than a lot of modern recordings to my ears. And I didn't realise how much of his output I was already familiar with. Makes me want to explore some more of his recordings, in the meantime I expect this will be getting a lot of plays.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

'Was Not Was' - 'Are You Okay'.

It's my favourite Zappa era, late 70s and early 80s - still quite often play this one, plus 'Sheikh Yerbouti' and 'Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch.'

This is a favourite of mine, got a decent vinyl copy a couple of years ago, where my original was again, on cassette. Released in 1981, so right in your favourite era.
