Next up Welsh International superstar Dame Shirley Bassey, now in her 8th decade this recording from 2009 shows that her 3 octave range is still intact and this collection of songs written especially for her by the likes of Manic Street Preachers, Gary Barlow, Pet Shop Boys, KT Tunstall, Richard Hawley, Rufus Wainwright and John Barry & Don Black show she is not just a "belt em out" Bond song singer, she is of course the only artist to have sung three Bond film songs, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker. A total of 64 studio, live and compilation albums and 124 singles and Ep's make her the most prolific British female artist and the first female artist to have a top 40 album in seven consecutive decades.

    Particular stand out tracks are:

    The Girl From Tiger Bay
    After The Rain
    Almost There
    Nice Men
    The Performance Of My Life
    & the other 6 tracks too !!

Produced by David Arnold with a orchestra of elite musicians from the session world conducted by Nicholas Dodd a legend in the film world for his orchestration and conducting, having conducted every Bond movie score since 1997 plus The Mummy, Independence Day, Godzilla etc, etc,.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

The next four are perhaps not the most well know albums of these artist but are stand out examples of thier undoubtable talent.

Scottish Jazz legend Carol Kidd, Canadian Jazz legend Diana Krall, American singer songwitter Rickie Lee Jones and last but by no means least Irish folk legend Mark Black.
