    1973 and still plays like new.

    Not everybody's taste but easy to forget what a groundbreaking album this was 42 years ago.

    Since last played my system has undergone lots of changes mainly to the cartridge/headamp and boy does it sound good now.

    Even if you don't like it it's a stunningly good "test record" for getting the tonal balance and info retrieval as you like it - me? I just love it

    Great choice Stephen... I have the 180g vinyl as part of the 2009 ultimate box and that sounds damn good on my system too, but I must give it a spin again and see how it sounds on the JBL's

    As an Oldfield related aside, I've just been listening to CD disc 1 of the Crises 30th Anniversary box set...



    ...and I must try and pick this up on 180g vinyl too...
