Staying in the 80s, with this (again). I need my 'fixx' of last song side 2 "Outside", which is just extraordinary. Never get bored of it.

Went from this to The Fixx's "Reach The Beach". The Fixx were often compared to The Police back in the early 80s (though they sound nothing like them) The Police cast a long shadow, and record buying Brits voted with their cash. But the Yanks welcomed The Fixx with open arms, and the band are still going today (album due out October).

    Now onto this one:

Last one for now. "Walkabout" can wait for another day - Anita is away until Friday, so I can play what I want, when I want.
This was never my favourite, and didn't get that much play, so why so crackly? It's a mystery. I need to get it through an RCM.

Absolutely without doubt, the best album by The Fixx - they've never done anything (IMHO) that has ever come close to Shuttered Room - its brilliant!!! One of my all time top 20 albums!!!!

(IMHO) This is a great album from Judas Priest but, I know amongst the fans out there, its a bit divisive as some think its a bit too commercial/mainstream; I LOVE IT!!!

    Rare Bird

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
