Yes, it is a gold disc. I have no idea of the price - it was a gift.

Goodness - they are not worth that much!

When the CBS catalogue was bought up by Sony, as a celebration Sony issued several titles on a gold disc CD. There were a couple of Robert Johnson titles as well as the Carol King.

But the specialist pressing of some recordings can fetch silly prices. Just look at the Nimbus pressing of titles such as Miles Davis's 'Kind of Blue' and Joan Armatrading's first LP, which were offered by a couple of Hi Fi magazines.

Thought it was time I added this one to the collection as was one I was missing, I know a lot of people hate the latter Genesis albums but this one is extremely good IMO, some great songs and well produced. I think we all have a bit of Genesis in us. Picked this NM+/NM copy up on Discogs for a good price, well worth it.

    Genesis ‎– We Can't Dance
    Label: Virgin ‎– GEN LP3, Virgin ‎– 212 082
Format: 2 × Vinyl, LP, Album, EMI Pressing
    Country: Europe
    Released: 1991
    Genre: Rock, Pop

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner
