I gave this a listen on Qobuz as I am a big Yes fan, certainly their earlier material. I obviously already knew "Owner of a Lonely Heart" which is good. I know it was one of their most commercially successful, bit that's just it, it is just that, somehow it reminds me of Journey in parts, the guitar work also lacks finesse as far as a Yes album is concerned. Not their finest moment IMO, but listenable.
I've got the 'owner of a lonely heart' EP from somewhere, it's never tempted me to buy the album....

So to finish off my YES-Fest I thought a live recording would be in order, a good copy this one.

    Yes ‎– Yessongs
    Label: Atlantic ‎– K 60045
Format: 3 × Vinyl, LP, Album
    Country: UK
    Released: 1973
    Genre: Rock
    Style: Prog Rock

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
