I defy anyone to cut grass on a ride on mower (in straight lines anyway) whilst listening to …....

Always like a bit of Genesis, this one seems to be the most regularly played, not sure why.

Genesis ‎– A Trick Of The Tail
    Label: Charisma ‎– CDS 4001
    Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Gatefold
    Country: UK
    Released: Feb 1976
    Genre: Rock
    Style: Prog Rock, Classic Rock

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Judging by the printing, it looks like you've got a snide copy, Ivo. So you're probably not hearing Rick at his dynamic best.

Handy tip - if you buy Kylie Minogue on 45rpm vinyl, you effectively get 2 for 1: play at 33rpm and it becomes Rick Astley.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Well someone took the trouble to hold on to the cassette, so It Must Have Been Love. Really like the Nakamichi deck though, it certainly does Look Sharp

    Hi Steve,
The tape is recorded by myself 🙂
I have watched on uTube the video with RA about his lates project.

I have some weakness toward cassette tapes...
The system is very basic but recently I acquired new speakers, Bose 301tm, and it’s a fun during my holiday.

    Where do you holiday, Ivo?

We get out to Bulgarian resorts most years - Sunny Beach, Golden Sands, Elenite, Albena...

Currently in Burgas, 30 km south of Sunny Beach. My wife’s family has an apartment just across the sea garden. Bicycles, speedminton, books, music (cassette tapes 😊 ), good food - I call this an active rest.
Otherwise if speaking about sea we are using the salt waters of Greece, with our kayaks.

    Sorry for the off topic!
