I bought 'Fields of Fire' when released but somehow waited another 39 years to buy the album and now can't get enough of it

Spinning again on CD out loud as I'm on my own this afternoon... and I think the 12 year old me would have enjoyed this album as much back then as the 51 year old me does now

I quite like a bit of Phil, Don’t even mind Genesis once he became lead singer... in fact I prefer it to their prog years... (that’s me behind the sofa with you, Barry!)

When I first joined I couldn't quite get my head around how unpopular he was.
We have a few of his solo albums and later Genesis albums on vinyl here which have all been 2nd hand purchases - I say we as both the Mrs and me will listen to them - unlike Big Country which she doesn't like

Only CD from the set I haven't played so far is an album I've never heard before.
