No, the photo isn't reversed, the other way round would be unplayable. The deck has been rotated clockwise by 90 degree for some reason. The album was released in 1998, a time when vinyl wasn't doing well, and the room for the photo shoot will have been laid out by a youngster who'd only ever seen a turntable being used by a DJ while off his face.

Tash Sultana is a recent new discovery for me, and very enjoyable music.

I don't really know how to describe their sound, but I think I'm hooked!
This is the 2nd album, from 2021:
Brilliant production, too.
