It has to be 3, at their best and experimenting imoYou must be psychic! I was thinking of playing this whilst having a shower this morning. (But then there have been several examples in the past of AoS displaying Jungian 'collective conciousness'.)
It's a battle between 'Volume II' and 'Third' as to which is my favourite Soft Machine album (I have them all), but certainly 'Third' is one that is frequently played.
