“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

    Tomasso Cappellato
    Originals
Lyrics are the ramblings of man, sometimes inspired by The Creator, most often, not.
But music (melodies, harmonies, rhythms), that's God stuff.
    Always was. Always will be.

One of the biggest lies ever told was that only certain kinds of people should listen to certain kinds of music.

Some classic rock from Mr Lofgren, who has played in Crazy Horse, and Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band as well as founding Grin. He is an extremely talented musician and guitarist IMO and well worth a listen, this album is a goody, as is "Night After Night", "I Came To Dance", "Nils" and "Flip" all worth a listen. He bacame famous for his on stage trick of soloing the guitar and at the same time somersaulting of a small trampoline in mid air, quite spectacular.

A gorgeous rock album this. If you have not heard of them they were from Cardiff, Wales in 1975, They released only 2 excellent albums, this being the second, Paul "Tonka" Chapman went off to stand in for Michael Schenker for UFO on a tour and that sadly virtually put and end to to the band.
