Not by Jarrett - he's too busy humming to himself whilst he plays. But there is some truth to what you say: there is a certain amount of reverence displayed by the audience at his concerts.If you cough at a Jarrett concert you get beaten up, so I've heard.

I have been playing only vinyl recently, due to running in a new cartridge, however, having bought a couple of cd's recently I decided to start the day with someone I have only just discovered thanks to Gary Davis playing Pasedena from William Prince's new album Stand In The Joy on Radio2's mid morning show.
Prince is a Canadian country/folk singer and has one of those voices that just gets under your skin and wow what a story teller he is too !
This is his fourth album, his first in 2016 was Earthly Days, his second in 2020 Reliever, which is highly praised and is my second choice for this morning, his third album Gospel First Nation followed in 2020 and then this, his current album, in 2023.
