When I first heard this album I thought it was a Stax/Atlantic production from the 1960's. In fact they are four young guys from Melbourne, currently on a UK tour which is sold out, they are playing small venues. eg Deaf Institute in Manchester £14 per ticket!
Seems a bit tight, having gigs at a deaf institute. Reminds me of a fireworks display I went to years ago, put on by an RNIB care home in Preston.
Just given "Pain and Misery a listen - very soulful, I like that a lot. Apologies if this sounds racist, but they do not look the way they sound!
