Forgotten just how good this heavy rock album is from Nazareth, I picked it up yesterday in 2nd hand shop for a reasonable price and its NM, I think Nazareth are often overlooked by many they were probably one of the founding Heavy Rock bands along with Black Sabbath, Bad Company and a few others. Well worth a listen, still sounds fresh.

    Nazareth (2) ‎– Loud'N'Proud
    Label: Mooncrest ‎– CREST 4
    Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Gatefold
    Country: UK
    Released: 1973
    Genre: Rock
    Style: Classic Rock, Hard Rock

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Great band, some great material that sadly gets overlooked by most rock fans

Another recent acquisition yesterday, and in pretty good condition. Was one of his more popular albums, I find it has a slightly more pop feel, maybe leaning to a Mike and the Mechanics feel, but it is a good listen.

    Electric Light Orchestra

Double CD, picked up in a charity shop for 40p. Bought out of interest, but on playing I dislike it intensly! I have never liked the use of a 'vocoder' or 'voicebox'.

    Will pass it on tomorrow!

ELO and love or hate... I quite like them and may well have that or a similar one with different case; or maybe on vinyl, i cant remember. Only listen to them occasionally for a good driving tune
