I agree Loz, people are taking the piss with their prices, on pretty much everything. I appreciate there are the usual suspects that are unavoidably hiking prices (Brexit, War in Ukraine, Covid), but I do feel that some are profiteering off this.

All we can do is vote with our wallets - I will continue to buy CDs at Music Magpie prices (long may it continue), but I feel the end of my record buying is drawing near... I already have plenty of music in my collection.
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Total agreement. I pretty much have all the music I need (mainly CD and my old vinyl collection from when I was young) so to hell with the greedy *^"~>ers on eBay!!! Their comes a point when its time to say enough is enough when it comes to lining the pockets of people who are clearly ripping other folk off!!!!

Prices being asked on Ebay are just that, being asked. God knows if they actually sell.

I buy 3-4 records a month from Discogs on average. If I can't find what I want at a reasonable price there I sometimes look on Ebay, but in the last year I've used Ebay over Discogs maybe twice.
