    Yup, that's my kinda thing Tony. New name for me so I've some homework to do, many thanks

    All I really hanker after with roots music are a great voice, good lyrics (especially if they are real) and a guitar. There's nowhere to hide if any of those aren't good. I'm playing mostly this style of music, jazz and blues these days, especially Miles Davis and Coltrane.

    My favourite song of the year is from Patty Griffin and her album is amongst my shortlist for album of the year. I've played this so many times I've lost count



    I'm a big PG fan, Robert Plant has good taste (they used to be a couple)
